Miles Mikolas Under 4.5 Strikeouts -154 (FanDuel)

After being one of the most strikeout-heavy teams to start the season, Miami has turned it around, and they have a great matchup today. Mikolas is in just the 11th percentile for K rate, the 2nd for whiff%, and the 36th for chase rate. He has not gone over this number in any of his last five starts. Miami is 19th in K rate against righties this season, so they should not ring up five or more times against Mikolas.

Joe Ryan Over 6.5 Strikeouts +105 (BetMGM)

Ryan only rang up six Royals in the season opener this year, but he should get seven today at home. For starters, the Royals strike out more on the road, and they are one of the most whiff-heavy teams in baseball. Ryan is in the 76th percentile for K rate, the 46th for whiff%, and the 98th for chase rate. Ryan has gone over this number in 2 of his last 3 starts and in 8/16 this season. At plus money, this is certainly worth a look.

Logan Webb Over 5.5 Strikeouts -106 (FanDuel)

Webb allowed five runs and eight hits in his last start, but he still racked up five strikeouts. Despite not going over this number in any of his last three starts, this is a great spot for Webb to get six strikeouts. Webb is in the 55th percentile for K rate, the 22md for whiff%, and the 80th in chase rate. The Mariners are one of the most strikeout-heavy teams, and they chase above the league average. Considering the Giants’ bullpen is taxed, Webb should have a longer leash, and he can certainly rack up six Ks.
