Luke Weaver Over 3.5 Strikeouts -122 (FanDuel)

Luke Weaver may not be a household name, but he has done a great job getting strikeouts this season. He has gone over this number in all but two of his seven starts. Weaver’s rankings are not going to jump off the page – he is in the 47th percentile for K rate, the 44th for whiff%, and the 13th in chase rate, but he is getting the Red Sox at a good time. Boston struck out eight times last night, and they have the 12th-highest strikeout rate in the last two weeks. With Weaver projected to get over 85 pitches, should be able to get four Ks at Fenway.

Mitch Keller Over 6.5 Strikeouts -120 (FanDuel)

Mitch Keller has been one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball this season, and he has a chance to rack up strikeouts in San Francisco. Keller is in the 87th percentile for K rate, the 48th for chase rate, and the 29th for whiff%. The Giants have the 7th highest K rate in the last two weeks, and they whiff well above the league average. Considering that the Giants have the 3rd highest K rate against righties this season, I like Keller to go over this number today.

Jared Shuster Over 4.5 Strikeouts -110 (BetMGM)

Since coming back from being demoted to AAA, Shuster has been a much better pitcher for Atlanta. He has gone over this number in 2/3 starts since his return to the Braves. While the A’s make contact against left-handed pitching, Shuster has an advantage here against the worst team in baseball. After coming back from AAA, he’s not going to let the MLB’s AAA team beat him, right? Asking for five strikeouts is fair, and I like him to go over.
